Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover - Emily's Tulips
Emily was the village florist renowned for her flower shop. Now, every year the village had a celebration called the blooming festival.
As the festival approached, the village buzzed with anticipation. The air was thick with the sweet scent of blossoms, and the townsfolk eagerly prepared for the event.
But this year, a mysterious disease befell emily’s prized tulips, threatening to the upcoming celebration a huge disaster for everyone.
Desperate for a solution, Emily sought help from her fellow villagers, only to discover that none possessed the coveted tulips she required. She had asked almost everyone and was beginning to panic.
Then, in hushed whispers, someone mentioned the secluded Oscar Thornfield, whose hidden garden held the answers she sought.
Oscar, lived alone on the outskirts of the village. He had a magnificent garden but he was known to have a grumpy demeanor. And rumor had it that he was not fond of sharing.
Emily hesitates but decides to approach him, hoping he might have the tulips.
She gathered her courage and approached the solitary man, hoping against hope for a shred of kindness.
To her surprise, Oscar agreed to help, but under one condition. Emily must spend a day assisting him in his garden. Uncertain but determined, Emily agreed.
She would go on to discover that Oscar was one of the most beautiful souls in the village. His kindness knew no limits and his wisdom was immense. Not only did he give her his best tulips, He offered her food, drinks and snacks. He really looked after her throughout the day. He just needed some companionship. His hospitality was incredible.
Emily felt regret for believing the village rumours about him. The rumors were all false. They were the opposite of what Oscar was actually like. From that day on, Emily promised herself that she would never judge a book by its cover.

Power of Small Steps
Robbins advocates the idea that monumental transformations often begin with small, manageable steps. Instead of overwhelming oneself with drastic changes, he encourages readers to focus on making gradual improvements in various aspects of life.
Why it Matters:
Sustainable Progress: Small changes are more sustainable over the long term. They are easier to implement and maintain, reducing the likelihood of burnout or giving up.
Building Momentum: Each small step contributes to building positive momentum. As progress is observed, individuals become more motivated to continue their journey of personal development.
Cultivating Habits: Small changes repeated consistently can evolve into habits. Positive habits are the foundation of lasting change, influencing behavior on a subconscious level.
